This video is obvious Russian propaganda designed to highlight Putin’s toughness for western audiences. There are two things that stand out as kind of odd in this video. The first is that we never see Putin actually fire the tranquilizer gun. The second; everyone in the video is about the same height as Putin so that he doesn’t appear small. According to IMDB, Vladimir Putin is only 5' 5".
